Artist's Statement

I’m an artist, born and raised in America, polished in Europe and enlightened in the Middle East. More importantly, I’m a man who tries to connect to the World with his feelings. I paint animals and people; often on the same page. My goal is to harmonise their energies. 
 

My work is grounded in German Expressionism. I focus more on colour, form and line rather than composition. Using lines and colour, I create emotion in the form of “wavy” lines. Whether my subjects or bilateral or NORMAL, I combine cool and warm colour palettes to create a sense on movement while maintaining symmetry. 

 

I am exploring art first as a reflection of my life’s journey. From the art being a lifelong exercise to my professions as a veterinary technician and teacher. In addition, I constantly challenge myself to create energetic works that allow others and myself to share a symbiotic connection. One that I take in through my surroundings and give back to the audience.
